The Zhejiang Special Economic Zone in Cambodia is a large industrial park established by Kasen International (0496. HK) within the Kingdom of Cambodia. The total scale of the first and second phases reaches 12.21 million square meters, and has become a benchmark for industrial towns in Cambodia. The first phase of the project was launched in July 2018 and opened for operation in November 2018. The second phase of the project will start in August 2023, and has completed planning and design, municipal engineering, and infrastructure projects. More than 100 enterprises have signed contracts to settle in, more than 50 enterprises have started construction, and 15 enterprises have been successfully put into operation. The investment promotion work is being comprehensively promoted.

Introduction to Phase One: Under the personal care of former Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, Zhejiang Special Economic Zone Phase One was approved for establishment in July 2018, covering an area of 180 hectares. It opened for operation in November 2018 and introduced 30 manufacturing factories in industries including furniture and home decoration, pet supplies, medical equipment, hardware, chemicals, building materials, packaging, etc. All products are exported to countries and regions such as the United States, Europe, Japan, and South Korea. By 2024, the total import and export value will reach over 1 billion US dollars, providing employment opportunities for more than 10000 local people.

Phase II Introduction: The Zhejiang SEZ Phase II covers an area of 1041 hectares and is planned to be divided into four major zones: East, North, West, and Nanhu Town. It aims to create a beautiful coastal industrial town that integrates production, life, and ecology. By improving the environment, scale, planning, functionality, and supporting facilities, it is expected that more than 300 enterprises will settle in after completion, which will drive over 80000 job opportunities.
