Fire safety is no small matter, and preventing potential fires is key. In order to further strengthen the main responsibility of enterprises in the special zone for safety production, identify and rectify fire safety hazards in the factory area, comprehensively enhance the emergency response and self rescue capabilities of enterprise employees, and build a solid defense line for safety production in the Zhejiang Economic Zone, from May 19th to 20th, the Fire Department of Gogong Province led a team to visit several key enterprises in the special zone, conducting full coverage and real-life fire drills. The property department of the special zone cooperated with the team throughout the process and followed up on implementation.

This drill has a wide coverage and strong targeting, and has visited multiple production enterprises such as Yuchuang Luggage, Yourun Technology, Langbai Home Furnishings, Aibo Furniture, Gaodian Furniture, Nanyuan Technology, JSW Wood Industry, etc. Covering multiple industries such as luggage, furniture, wood, and hardware technology, we conduct tailored practical exercises and safety guidance to address the safety production characteristics of processing and manufacturing enterprises, such as high material stacking, dense electrical equipment, and multiple fire risk points.

The drill site closely follows the actual production of the enterprise, abandons formal processes, and focuses on practical results. Firefighters will explain on site the key points of fire hazard investigation, initial fire extinguishing methods, standardized operation procedures for fire equipment, as well as evacuation, emergency shelter, and self rescue and escape techniques in case of sudden fire incidents, based on the environment, production processes, and fire protection facilities configuration of each enterprise's factory area. At the same time, demonstrate the standard usage steps of fire extinguishers, fire hydrants and other equipment on site, guide enterprise employees to practice hands-on, and correct non-standard operating behaviors.

In response to the key issues of high flammable materials and high fire pressure in furniture, wood, and luggage enterprises, firefighters have emphasized the fire safety precautions for key scenarios such as workshop production, material storage, and electricity and gas use. They have carefully investigated the hidden dangers in key points such as fire exits, emergency lighting, fire facilities, and pipelines in the factory area, and provided guidance on rectification on site to urge enterprises to make immediate improvements and prevent fire accidents from the source.

The property department of the special zone participated in the drill and inspection throughout the process, actively cooperated with the fire department to carry out work, and synchronously recorded the safety issues and rectification requirements of each enterprise. We will continue to collaborate with the fire department, carry out regular fire safety inspections, emergency drills, and safety education in the special zone, consolidate the fire safety management system in the special zone, and weave a dense safety protection net for the special zone.

This multi enterprise collaborative fire safety real-life exercise effectively filled the gaps in the practical operation of fire safety in special zone enterprises, further strengthened the fire safety awareness and emergency response capabilities of enterprise leaders and employees, and effectively tested and improved the overall fire prevention and emergency coordination capabilities of the special zone.
